Content descriptions
General Note: | "St. Johns parish did not exist just a few short decades ago. It was built by hard working, purpose-driven, ordinary people who came together with a common goal. When Homer's population was less than 1000, many diverse people with roots in Catholicism decided they wanted a church. They persisted and created one. They donated their skills, time and money to bring about a meeting place for the worship of God. Through the years parishioners came and left, but their spirit continued and today we have St. John the Baptist Parish." - From the book. |
