A Beautiful Mind: Based on the true story of John Nash, a brilliant mathematician whose schizophrenia led him to believe that he had become entangled in a mysterious conspiracy. After overcoming his illness Nash went on years later to win the Nobel Prize.
Apollo 13: Stranded 205,000 miles from Earth in a crippled spacecraft, astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert fight a desperate battle to survive. Meanwhile, at Mission Control, astronaut Ken Mattingly, flight director Gene Kranz, and a heroic ground crew race against time, and the odds, to bring them home.
Cinderella Man: Based on the true story of down-and-out Depression-era boxer James J. Braddock who rose through the boxing ranks to challenge legendary heavyweight Max Baer for the championship.
Backdraft: Two feuding brothers carrying on a heroic family tradition in the Chicago fire department resolve their differences as they fight to solve a series of arson attacks, each of which was ignited by explosive phenomena known as backdrafts.
