The ghost of Fannie Guthry-Baehm : a murder mystery / Jonathan Faulkner.
The setting is Seward, Alaska, a scenic and coastal port town that hosts Alaska's oldest and most celebrated historic hotel-the Van Gilder. Fannie Guthrie-Baehm was murdered in room 202 in 1950, and her ghost has been witnessed by many over the years. Fannie the ghost does not engage in the evils of the past but those yet to be committed. She does not intimidate the guilty with the redundant thud of a telltale heart but flickers and fades in the minds of evil intent so as to deter the passion and prompt the tempted to reflect on their schemes.
